There’s been a lot of comparing the Artemis II Earth Photo to Apollo’s from 1972. And just about everyone is wrong for comparing the two. They are two totally different images. You could say the difference is literally night and day. The 2026 one was taken of Night on Earth at 51,200 and the other was taken with the Sun lighting up earth.
Now where people are not wrong., is when it comes to the size and qualuty of the film used back in 1972. 70mm vs 35mm is a MASSIVE Difference. I personally would like to have seen a larger format camera taken into space.
